✈️ Day 1: Cochabamba – Uyuni Salt Flats
- 5:00 AM – Pickup from your hotel in Cochabamba and transfer to the airport.
Our team will pick you up early to take you to Jorge Wilstermann Airport. You will fly to Uyuni on a flight of approximately 1 hour. - 7:00 AM – Arrival in Uyuni and welcome.
At the Uyuni airport, our local guide will be waiting for you to begin the journey. - Train Cemetery.
We begin with a visit to the legendary train cemetery, a photographic site steeped in history. - Colchani Community.
We visit this community where you will learn about the artisanal salt-making process. - 10:30 AM – Entrance to the Uyuni Salt Flats.
We enter the majestic Salar de Uyuni, a vast white plain that stretches to the horizon. We will visit: - Ojos de Sal (salt springs that burst from the ground).
- Salt mounds (traditional harvesting process).
- Salt Museum (inside the old Playa Blanca salt hotel).
